Freezer Cookbooks
Cook a Bunch Now, Eat Great Later with Freezer Cookbook Planning and Preparation
I'll be honest, I used to really dislike cookbooks. Heck, I didn't even like cooking all that much. I don't know what exactly changed that, but I find myself enjoying cookbooks and even buying them to use in our kitchen on a regular basis.
My husband does most of the cooking (thank goodness) and having the cookbooks and even a few magazines on hand helps him come up with new ideas and provides reference for when he wants tried and true recipes to work with. It has also helped us save time and money in the kitchen by being able to plan ahead.
Which brings us to today's topic of freezer cooking - the ultimate time and money saver.

I suppose we've always done this to some degree - make a double batch of this or that and freeze the second batch to have on a busy weeknight. Then one day hopping around Pinterest I realized that there was this whole movement of people who do freezer cooking once a week or even once a month so they can do all their shopping and prep on one day and eat great all month long.
I was fascinated and intrigued by their organizational skills and the idea of saving all this time and money with freezer cooking, so I started subscribing to blogs, watching videos, and picking up freezer cooking cookbooks.
